We are seeking a talented QA Lead to join our dynamic team and take full ownership of quality across our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced QA Lead with a strong background in EMR/EHR systems. This role involves leading QA efforts across the product lifecycle, ensuring top-notch quality standards, managing testing processes, and mentoring the QA team. You will work closely with the Product Manager, Product Owner, and CTO to ensure end-to-end quality for live production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage both manual and automation QA teams.
- Take full accountability for product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Define, implement, and maintain QA processes, strategies, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards across all stages of the release lifecycle.
- Create and maintain QA documentation, test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, PMs, POs, and stakeholders.
- Conduct different types of testing including functional, integration, regression, API, load, black-box, and white-box testing.
- Oversee bug tracking and defect management processes.
- Ensure effective release lifecycle management and production readiness.
- Provide training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to QA team members.
- Manage QA initiatives across multiple teams and domains when required.
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process for skilled Software Quality Assurance (SQA) professionals to meet the company’s quality standards.
- Ensure a smooth transition and integration of new hires into the team for optimal performance.
Must-Have Requirements
- 3-5 Years of Previous working experience as Sr. QA for products or projects.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or similar relevant field.
- Proven experience in a QA Lead role within a product-based environment.
- Hands-on experience in EMR/EHR systems and a strong understanding of healthcare business domains.
- Excellent understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in sprint-based development teams.
- Strong command over QA documentation and processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems.
- Hands-on experience with UI test automation tools (Cypress or Selenium).
- Strong knowledge of API testing, integration testing, and load testing techniques.
- Exceptional bug management and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written), and presentation skills.
- Experience in working across multiple QA teams and domains is a plus.
- Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and attention to detail.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA.
