Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate SQA Engineer with 2+ years of experience, preferably in healthcare or EMR/EHR-based products. As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining our high product quality standards by executing thorough testing across the development lifecycle. You will be collaborating closely with the Product Owner, Business Analyst, and development team to ensure our releases are robust, compliant, and ready for real-world healthcare environments. This role is ideal for someone who has a solid grasp of QA practices and is ready to grow within a dynamic, product-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in end-to-end QA processes across the SDLC.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, BAs, and Developers to define and refine test plans and strategies.
  • Execute test cases (manual and automated) for API, UI, and database-level testing.
  • Ensure testing coverage aligns with product requirements and edge cases.
  • Create and maintain QA documentation including test plans, bug reports, and release checklists.
  • Support UAT and coordinate deployments with stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify risks and report bugs with detailed documentation and reproduction steps.
  • Communicate testing progress, QA status, and quality metrics to stakeholders and management.
  • Provide QA input during sprint planning and product grooming sessions.

Required Skills

  • Solid experience with API testing, debugging, and relational databases (e.g., SQL).
  • Exposure to EMR/EHR systems or healthcare-based software products is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA’s role in iterative delivery.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and respond promptly to urgent QA issues in live environments.
  • Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Knowledge of QA frameworks, processes, and lifecycle.
  • Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter) is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience & Education

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a similar relevant field.
  • 2+ Years of Previous working experience as SQA for products or projects.
