Job Description:
At Deline Media group of companies, we are seeking a motivated and experienced ‘MIS Reporting Executive’ to join our growing team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely MIS reports, analyzing operational data, and providing meaningful insights to support business decisions, improve process efficiency, and ensure effective performance tracking across teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports within defined timelines.
- Collect, validate, and consolidate data from multiple sources ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and update databases, trackers, and dashboards on a regular basis.
- Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and key business insights. (depth of analysis will vary based on experience)
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather data and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to all relevant stakeholders.
- Identify data inconsistencies, process gaps, and highlight them proactively.
- Develop and improve reporting formats, dashboards, and automation where applicable. (expected at senior level)
- Monitor KPIs and report performance deviations with actionable recommendations. (expected at senior level)
- Handle reporting escalations and ensure resolution within defined timelines. (expected at senior level)
- Maintain proper documentation, reporting protocols, and data governance standards.
- Support ad-hoc reporting and business analysis requirements.
- Manage communication across all relevant channels efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain daily productivity, weekly, and monthly management reports.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 2 to 3+ years of experience in MIS/reporting or business analysis roles.
- Advanced Excel skills (dashboards, automation, complex formulas).
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and/or SQL.
- Strong ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience in process improvement and reporting automation.
- Capability to handle stakeholders and reporting independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data handling).
- Basic understanding of data analysis and reporting concepts.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- High level of ownership and accountability in handling data.
- Familiarity with reporting tools or databases is a plus (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Google Sheets).
