AI Automation Engineer

Role Overview:

The AI Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AI-powered automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and internal productivity across the EMR/EHR ecosystem. The role focuses on leveraging modern AI technologies, Large Language Models (LLMs), workflow automation, APIs, and intelligent process automation to streamline business and engineering workflows.
The ideal candidate is passionate about Artificial Intelligence, automation technologies, prompt engineering, workflow orchestration, and building scalable AI-enabled business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement AI-powered automation workflows for business and product teams.
  • Develop AI assistants, copilots, and intelligent automation solutions.
  • Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into internal and customer-facing applications.
  • Build API-based integrations between AI platforms and enterprise systems.
  • Develop prompt engineering strategies for consistent AI outputs.
  • Automate repetitive operational and business processes.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, HR, and Operations teams to identify automation opportunities.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools and recommend suitable technologies.
  • Monitor AI solution performance and continuously optimize outputs.
  • Ensure AI implementations follow organizational security and compliance standards.
  • Develop reusable AI automation components and documentation.
  • Assist in chatbot, workflow automation, and intelligent knowledge management initiatives.
  • Create dashboards to measure automation impact and productivity improvements.
  • Maintain technical documentation and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of software engineering, AI automation, or automation development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Prompt Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, AWS Bedrock, and n8n.
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Connect (AWS Connect) for conversational AI or voice automation is preferred.
  • Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts and AI agent architectures.
  • Experience with Git, JSON, and Agile development practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
