Role Overview:
The AI Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AI-powered automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and internal productivity across the EMR/EHR ecosystem. The role focuses on leveraging modern AI technologies, Large Language Models (LLMs), workflow automation, APIs, and intelligent process automation to streamline business and engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement AI-powered automation workflows for business and product teams.
- Develop AI assistants, copilots, and intelligent automation solutions.
- Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into internal and customer-facing applications.
- Build API-based integrations between AI platforms and enterprise systems.
- Develop prompt engineering strategies for consistent AI outputs.
- Automate repetitive operational and business processes.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, HR, and Operations teams to identify automation opportunities.
- Evaluate emerging AI tools and recommend suitable technologies.
- Monitor AI solution performance and continuously optimize outputs.
- Ensure AI implementations follow organizational security and compliance standards.
- Develop reusable AI automation components and documentation.
- Assist in chatbot, workflow automation, and intelligent knowledge management initiatives.
- Create dashboards to measure automation impact and productivity improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation and best practices.

Required Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of software engineering, AI automation, or automation development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Prompt Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, AWS Bedrock, and n8n.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with Amazon Connect (AWS Connect) for conversational AI or voice automation is preferred.
- Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts and AI agent architectures.
- Experience with Git, JSON, and Agile development practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
